Ollie Collie Behind the Scenes 01

There’s lots that goes on here ‘behind the brand’ so we thought we’d start sharing a little peek into what we’re up to each week.

There’s a definite weather theme in our first edition. So without further ado, here’s our round up.

This week we are…

That strange British combination of shorts, wellies and jumpers because you don’t quite know what the weather is going to throw at you! It’s been roasting hot, raining, windy, and that’s just in one day!

More ice cream than you can shake a stick at! Our favourite at the moment is Choc Cherry Charm by local Howgill Fellside Ice Cream. We can see the cows who’s delicious milk make it, from Ollie Collie towers. We do have to walk uphill to go and get it, that will burn off all the calories, right?!

Local beauty spot, Aysgarth Falls. Absolutely gorgeous place for a stroll along the river in the sunshine. Maybe even dip your toes in the river if you’re feeling brave. (Always observe any safety signs) There’s a lovely picnic spot too, or you can pop into the café at the centre run by the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

It’s not all swanning about in the sunshine you know! We’re busy hand printing lots of mugs ready for this weekends events. We’re going to be at Berry’s Farm for their Haytime festival as well as at our local Sedbergh Artisan Market. Do pop down and see us if you’re in the area!
