This week we are…
….Planning for summer
Part of the reason that Ollie Collie the business was born was to enable us to fit work around our lifestyle and children. We love the flexibility it gives us to enjoy the important things but it does mean that school holidays require some major planning so that we can still run our business and have fun as a family. Usually, all the work gets done in our home office (otherwise as known as the spare room!) while the children are at school/nursery but in the holidays the kitchen table will become our new work space. To help us stay organised we’ve ordered some fab new ring binders so that we can easily transport our paperwork to the kitchen and keep it safe from small hands. Any excuse for pretty new things we think!
Continuing the organisation theme, we’re decluttering like mad! Is anyone else amazed at just how much stuff you can accumulate in a year?! With the prospect of the whole family home together for six long weeks we’re making space so that we can all breathe more easily. We are great believers in keeping things simple which allows for less stress and more fun. This week we’re making trips to the tip to recycle what can’t be used, sending unneeded items to our local charity shop and passing on other items to friends who can make better use of them.
Did you see the new series The Yorkshire Dales & The Lakes on More4? We loved seeing local business The Churchmouse at Barbon and learning more about them. We’re very proud to live and work within the Yorkshire Dales National Park and even more blessed to also live so close to the Lake District National Park. We have so much natural beauty on our doorstep! Can’t wait to see the next episode.
….Printing bespoke mug orders
Did you know we also print bespoke mug orders? We’ve recently worked with our local primary school to provide mugs celebrating their 50th birthday, our local running club to provide personalised mugs and water bottles for members, and other local craft people wanting to display images of their work on mugs. Need a logo or image printing on a mug? Drop us a line (email@example.com) and see if we can help! We accept orders for as little as a single mug, as well as much larger quantities. We can hand print your design onto ceramic or bone china mugs.
